Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who played various characters on television, in movies as well as the stage. She won numerous accolades like the Daytime Emmy Award for her acting in theater and television. Her first fame was for playing twins Vicky Hudson (left) and Marley Love (right), on the show Another World (1987-1991). Her character won two Soap Opera Digest Awards, as well as an Daytime Emmy Award. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney September 6 1953) is an American actress. She is known best for playing Lieutenant Sheba from the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). She is the daughter of actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart's professional career started very in the beginning. She was just four years old when her first acting role was in T is for Tumbleweed. This film of a short length about theme was nominated for an Academy Award. Her mother invited her to a film studio, where she was taught about what the industry of film was like. Lockhart has even appeared in numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory, 1972 was Lockhart's first film. The Sixth Sense was a television show that aired in 1972. When she was 18, she played Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. Joan was the last actress to appear in the series. Rumor has it that Anne did not want to be Laurie Strode, the character in the horror film of John Carpenter's film, Halloween. The character was played by Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter claims that they were interested in her however she decided to decline. Anne says she does not recall being contacted or offered the part in any way by John Carpenter. Perhaps one of her representatives turned down the job on her behalf without informing her. Glen Larson chose her initially and then sent her a draft written script. The role she would take was on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 1978. In the beginning, she didn't like the part because it was too weak. Glen created a completely new character for her called Sheba that was more powerful. After she read the first 25 pages of the story The Living Legend she accepted immediately. It lasted for just one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
