Shannyn Sossamon

Shannyn Sossamon was the principal female character in Wristcutters, a romantic black comedy. It was nominated in several categories, including The Sundance Grand Jury Prize and Independent Spirit Awards as well as the Humanitas Prize. The Holiday, Dirt, Catacombs, and Dirt on FX came next. In addition, she was offered a role as a regular in the series of CBS' vampire drama Moonlight as the character Coraline Duvall. In 2008, she won the award for "Choice Film actor Horror" at the Teen Choice Awards. The film she starred in was Life Is Hot in Cracktown, Our Family Wedding, The Heavy, How to Make It in America, Road to Nowhere, The Day, The Cyclist, and The End of Love as Lydia. Additionally, she got to be a part of Desire which is another small-scale feature that was a collaboration with Jaguar and Ridley Scott Associates, to start the new year with a Jaguar F-Type.
